The Nauta design firm has designed the proportions and circulation to create a true outdoor living space that is both structured and fluid.

In its open configuration, the platform becomes a natural extension of the cockpit. The sea is invited on board.
In the closed configuration, the aft seats create a more secure area that enables you to welcome more guests. This layout creates a new living space in the cockpit - especially while cruising - thanks to its additional seating close to the helmsman.

The helm stations benefit from the advanced features introduced on the Oceanis 47 and Oceanis 52: Integrated seats and backrests, ergonomic consoles incorporating all the controls, and a motor throttle integrated in the console. Every manoeuvre becomes intuitive; every setting becomes instinctive.

The interior upholstery is Premium, with three distinct styles: Ivory, sober and classic; Sunset, very cozy; Pacific, refreshing and timeless.
Always driven by attention to detail, the sand-coloured oak finishes add a touch of warmth and modernity. The 2-mm-thick wood edges enhance the feeling of quality and sophistication to the touch. Every detail has been carefully crafted in order to create a sophisticated and timeless atmosphere.
The saloon is spacious, bright, and designed for welcoming guests. Facing it, a full-size desk structures the owner's area. We have also incorporated a bookshelf on the mast foot bulkhead, as well as a cabinet at the base of the companionway containing all of the boat’s electrical controls. This ensures clear and efficient organisation of the onboard systems.

The Oceanis 42 is the only 40-foot boat on the market that provides five layout options.
She is also the only one that offers two different interior layouts: one version with an L-shaped galley, and one version with a linear galley featuring a large working surface.
High performance and control, by Lombard
To further enhance performance under sail, we have increased the sail area: The standard furling mast is now 60 cm taller, while the classic and performance masts are both 30 cm taller. This development offers greater power without compromising accessibility and control.
A real seafaring galley
Located at the foot of the companionway, the L-shaped galley asserts its nautical style. Stable when heeling, it provides a sense of security during navigation and remains connected with the cockpit.
With a cooling capacity of 215 litres, it offers the largest cooling volume in the 40-foot boat segment.
A connected boat
The mobile application, Seanapps, and its onboard unit lets you view the status of the boat's various systems (battery charge, fuel or water tank levels, maintenance scheduling) via your smartphone, as well as planning your route or reviewing your sailing status using your mobile phone.
